Adding links

Linking to websites, emails and other pages is simple with Experios and is a great way to boost your content’s interactivity. The use of links to signpost readers to sources of further info is also a nifty way to keep publications looking fresh, uncluttered and easy to read.

Both text and images can have links and, with the Experios platform, there are few ways to add them.

In this example, text has already been placed onto the canvas.

Selecting the area of text where you’d like your link to appear opens a toolbar. Clicking the link button lets you choose whether your link goes to a website, email address or another page within your publication. You can also choose whether a destination website opens in a new window or your reader’s current window.

Links can be added to images in exactly the same way.

You can also add links using the menu panel on the right-hand side of your canvas. Simply choose “Add Content”, select “Features” and then find the “Link” option. Click this button to open another panel, name your link and create it. And, again, if you’re creating a link to a website, you can choose whether the reader opens that link in a new window or their current one.
