Cards, graphs and video blocks are a quick way to add design elements to the page.
Cards, for example, are brilliant for things like product descriptions and can easily be linked to an online store. Cards can also be used to add teaser text that links to a longer-form article. Choose: “Features”, “Layouts”, “Cards” and then select the configuration that’s best for you. Cards can be added to the beginning or the end of a publication.
Changing the text, images and interactive elements – like links – on default cards is simple.
Make quick text edits using the toolbar or open the “Properties” panel for more options.
Add a link by selecting the text where you’d like to add the link, accessing the toolbar and clicking the link option. The link can be to a website, an email address or to another page within the publication.
Double-click the default image to choose a replacement one from your own library or from a selection of stock images. And resizing images, so that they are consistent in size, is simple. Select the image to access its toolbar and then click and drag its lower edge to resize.
Graph blocks are useful for sharing data-rich content like statistics. There’s a choice of full and part-page options for graph blocks. Modifying the look and feel of these elements is simple. You can use the toolbar to modify text, for example, and add images from the “Content Library”. You can also use the “Properties” panel to access more options including background colour and image.
The video block is a simple design element with space for descriptive text on the left-hand side. The video itself – accessed, as described before, using the “Content Library” – plays on the right-hand side.
